We went to the listening party for Foo Fighters’ new album!

The legendary Foo Fighters have announced their first new album since the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins. “But Here We Are” is due for release on the second of June, with its lead single, “Rescued,” available now. Listen here!

The band state that the record is “a brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters endured over the last year, ‘But Here We Are’ is a testament to the healing powers of music, friendship and family,”. Written by Dave Grohl in a short spell last year, the record is “courageous, damaged and unflinchingly authentic, ‘But Here We Are’ opens with newly released lead single ‘Rescued,’ the first of 10 songs that run the emotional gamut from rage and sorrow to serenity and acceptance, and myriad points in between.”

We’ve been lucky enough to work with this incredible band for the last couple of years and were really thankful when they invited us down to an exclusive listening party in London’s Metropolis Studios last week. We can’t say much, but what we can say is that it’s equal parts loud and utterly heart-wrenching. Dave and the guys have done an incredible job. We can’t wait to watch it live!
